Hooray! I'm now fully vaccinated! As more of us get our shots the world is re-opening bit by bit. Art galleries, both museums and commercial galleries, are showing their treasures again, and customers can look and, perhaps, take home one of them. Please join me in getting your shots so we can continue living openly and together. While taking a walk recently I came across this bike resting against a tree at the side of a trail. Mundane, but evocative. It's still, but ready to go again. As we have been still all year, and now can begin to resume rolling. In other news, "Thompson River Valley" from my Trans-Canada 150 project has been accepted for the Federation of Canadian Artists Scenes of Western Canada exhibition at the Federation Gallery in Vancouver. The show runs from 16-29 August. If you're in the Vancouver area, please do stop by! If you're in Toronto, stop by Arta Gallery in the Distillery District, where "Streetcar" is now showing as part of their Local Charm exhibition through July 1. And have a Happy Canada Day! |
