Well, doesn't good news come in batches? I recently found out that one of my paintings has been accepted into the Art Comes Alive exhibition in Cincinnati, sponsored by ADC Gallery! This is another major competitive exhibition, with over 3000 entries but only a small number of works selected. It will be open from October 29 through the end of December - great for Christmas shopping! I submitted four works for consideration - "Exploits River", "Red Flowers", "Malting Silo Penthouse" and "Penthouse Reno". The organizers informed me that one got in the show, but they haven't told me which one yet. Which of these four would you choose? I'd love to hear what you think! And come back later to see if you guessed the right one. I'll post it as soon as I find out. Meanwhile, I have two Toronto scenes on the go in the studio. Does anyone recognize the settings?? |

I just found out that "Sunlight and Shadow" was juried into the American Artists Professional League annual Grand National Exhibition! This prestigious exhibition of contemporary realist art will be at the Salmagundi Club in New York City in November. I'm over the moon! This is the second time my work has been accepted into the Grand National. Last time around, the pandemic forced the exhibition to be online only. This year it will be live. Join me in NYC and enjoy the show!
