The show is open! Stop by the Northwest Watercolor Society website to see all the paintings accepted into this year's show (including mine!). Number 44 is especially nice, but I'm biased. There will be a virtual vernissage/opening reception on October 30 at 6pm Pacific time (9pm Eastern) - get your wineglass ready! The juror for the show, Ron Stocke, will present and describe all 75 paintings and award the prizes afterwards. Reserve your spot at the reception! |

Rocky Shore has been accepted into the NWWS Annual International Open Exhibition! Due to Covid, this show will be entirely online this year. It will be open for viewing as of the evening of 27 October at https://www.nwws.org/Exhibitions/Annual-International-Open
I am overwhelmed by the number of international exhibitions that have accepted my work this year - see the last few posts in this blog for the others. It's certainly been an interesting time and definitely is motivating me to keep painting. Check out all my newest work on the Recent Works page. At the moment I'm having a ball on another view of the Five Roses sign in Montreal's Old Port - here's a sneak peek at it's state today. It still has a few days to go before it's done, but I think you can get the idea of where I'm going with it.
