It's been a busy time for delivering paintings lately. Last week I took several recent pieces to Arta Gallery in Toronto. It's always a pleasure to share a coffee with Fay, the gallery owner, and discuss the Toronto art market, my art, and possible future collaborations. If you're in the Toronto area, drop in to the gallery in the Distillery District and say hello to Fay, Sydney or Liza. There's lots of great art on their walls all the time and their gallery space is simply amazing. I also delivered "95 Water St." and "Inaccessible" to Lower Canada College. Thank you, LCC, for adding my work to your collection! I had a great time teaching Upper School Art over the past many years - a piece of you will remain with me as well. "Staircase" has found a new home as well - its new owner picked it up from Galerie 203 himself. While not yet delivered (the varnish is still hardening), "Abandoned" and "Silo Penthouse" have both sold and will be moving to their new home soon. Thanks to Galerie 203 for arranging the sales! |
