I'm excited to share that I'm included in the latest online juried exhibition sponsored by the Federation of Canadian Artists! My entry is "Thompson River Valley" from my Trans-Canada 150 project. You can view the exhibition at the Federation Gallery website - or just click the Federation Gallery banner with those cute polar bears at the top of this post. It's been a productive time in the studio, too. I completed two new paintings in my Montreal series over the last couple of weeks: "Three Fingers of Light", a study in light and shadow over a Montreal house front, and "Grinder", one of my favourite shops along Notre Dame West. I wish a wonderful and safe March break to all Quebeckers and a hope for early spring to all of you. Of course, the nearly 1 metre of snow on my deck belies that hope, but I can't help hoping in any case. |
